#23 Rolling Brayers

#23 challenge for the paper plunge this week is using brayers…  My card was colored with kaleidoscope stamp pad brights.  Paper and black ink is Stampin Up.  I have been wanting to use this saying and thought this was the perfect background.  Thank you Paper Plunge for reminding me I have a brayer!

Wow … 2 cards in one week!! 2015 is looking Good :0)

Okay so when  The Paper Plunge  #17 Try a Technique challenge was posted,  I knew immediately what I wanted to do..shaving cream technique!!

So let's go back many many many years ago, my fabulous sister had her first Stampin Up! party.  Of course i was invited and thought….what am i gonna do with rubber stamps???  Well since my sister was so Fabulous I had to attend.  Okay so I get in my car, gas up and get my coffee for the treck south to Jackson (to me, the sticks, with nothing around…. just trees!!  Who knew I too would end up there).  So the party starts, and all you stampers know, once you touch those stamps your life, extra bedroom, and wallet will never be the same.  I got sucked into the "CULT".  I remember going down the long road to Jackson so excited to hang with my Fabulous sister in her Glorious Craft room!  So when she showed me this technique, I was in awe (wasn't hard to do actually - the awe thing)  So enough rambling..  The inks I used are coastal cabana, island indigo, and marina mist.  Papers are whisper white and black.  Stamp sets used are endless birthday wishes and traveler.  Hope this memory brought back the beginning of your stamping "CULT"!
